KCBS Radio news anchor and A2A founder Jeff Bell interviews Orlaith Staunton, who lost her 12-year-old son Rory to Sepsis in 2012.

Orlaith co-founded the Rory Staunton Foundation for Sepsis Prevention to educate people on how to prevent Sepsis and the importance of a speedy diagnosis and immediate treatment. Triggered by an infection, more than 1 million Americans get Sepsis annually. It is the leading cause of death of children and infants throughout the world.
