While A2A is an outgrowth of several distinct personal journeys from adversity to advocacy (see our story), we believe that the principles that made these journeys possible are universal. Moreover, we believe that they are supported by a growing body of science.
As part of our mission, we are committed to showcasing this science–specifically, the empirical evidence of the power of service, purpose, resilience, and empathy–which we believe A2A brings together in the following way:
By being of service to others with adversities similar to our own, we apply our empathy in a way that provides a powerful sense of purpose and fuels our resilience.
In this space, we will share a variety of articles, book reviews, and related features we believe will interest you. Additionally, we are inviting researchers from numerous other top research institutions to share their findings with our A2A followers.
As A2A continues to grow, and with your help, we plan to use our own resources to foster additional research into the above mentioned areas–both through research grants and collaborations with university researchers.
