KCBS Radio afternoon anchor and A2A founder Jeff Bell spotlights Dior Vargas, who describes herself as a Latina feminist mental health activist. 

Vargas lives with depression and anxiety and created the People of Color and Mental Illness Photo Project as a response to what she describes as ”the invisibility of people of color in the media representation of mental illness.” Her mental health activism also includes crisis counseling, leading support groups, hosting workshops and keynote speaking across the country.
