KCBS Radio afternoon anchor and A2A founder Jeff Bell shares the story of 20 year old Valerie Weisler who was bullied in high school.

With first hand knowledge of how bullying erodes self esteem Valerie told a student she saw being bullied that he matters and that validation stopped him from committing suicide. As a result of that encounter Valerie started The Validation Project to help other young people. Today it has bloomed into an international teen empowerment organization that works with 6,000 youth in 105 countries to solve social injustice issues.
