Ilene’s son Ari was diagnosed with autism over twenty years ago when there were inadequate educational, social and recreational services available to them. Along with NEXT co-founder Laura Slatkin, she created innovative programs to meet the needs of children and their families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
