KCBS Radio afternoon anchor and A2A founder Jeff Bell spotlights mass shooting survivor Whitney Austin and her efforts to combat gun violence through her nonprofit Whitney/Strong.

Whitney was shot 12 times as she made her way to the Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati on September 6, 2018 and says as she hid from the gunman that morning, in addition to fear and love for her family, she felt anger that more wasn’t being done to end gun violence.
